Nautilus is the default file manager in Ubuntu. In Nautilus searching file is not easy. If you like GUI other than shell command, you can use catfish, a file search GUI utility. To install, sudo apt get install catfish After install, Application > Accessories > Catfish Enjoy your Ubuntu!
